The sunset tonight was beautiful. I got out of work and saw the sky like this and rushed home to get my camera (I know I was bad today and forgot to take it with me to work), this is a shot from outside my door. This is one thing I will for sure miss about Florida when I move back to Michigan (whenever that happens).

I didn't do much today I had the day off and Brian had to work ALL day, so I basically sat in bed and just relaxed. Unfortunately there was nothing on except for the inauguration so that is what I watched. This shot was taken for Brian since he was at work and missed it.
Today my car came back from the shop, and my mom and I took it to the quarter car wash (I love them). This is the first car wash my car has had since we moved to Florida (other than the quick front yard by hand with soapy water and a sponge), I just don't like the idea of spending $10.00 on a freaking car wash! But this day was special so I did...and I really thing my car enjoyed it haha.
Brian's been picking up his acoustic a little more often lately, so today I decided it would be a nice focal point for my picture :).
Kiwi was mad at me this day, I took A TON of pictures of him, he now makes my shutter noise...great.

We made cotton candy today, Zoe tried it and got it stuck on her nose. Sadly I couldn't get my camera adjusted in time to snap a decent picture, but this makes me laugh so here it is.
Newest addition to the family. 2 fishes and a crab like thing. This is Brian's fish, named Spike '09, he named all his fish Spike growing up, so this one had to be Spike too. :)

This was my 2nd batch of sugar cookies this year, although I don't really like them my mom does, and since her anniversary is tomorrow, I figured I'd make her a quick batch. Yes I took a bite of the stocking...I had to make sure there was no poison in it :)
So Christmas was yesterday and that always makes me miss my family and friends that are no longer with us, or not living near by. So today I wanted a picture of this bear. This teddy bear is very special to me because it contains a pinch of my grandma's ashes. Growing up I called her Teddy Bear, and when she died I couldn't think of a better way to remember her than to put some of her inside a teddy bear! Yes, it's a little freaky and weird, but really when your Grandmother requests to be sprinkled in West Virgina, it's not like you can go and visit her "site" very often. So this was my option. Sorry if I've freaked you all out now :)
One of the Christmas trees at Sea World. Which is where my family and I went today. It was a good time, but I don't think I'll go there on Christmas day ever again. Next year...we'll have to figure something else out
I got over my anger towards the cook book today, and made some cinnamon salt dough ornaments for my parents for Christmas. Merely out of boredom but I remember doing this as a kid so I thought why not give it a try. I didn't have any supplies for decorating, just some basic kids paint, so that's what I used. Maybe next year I'll get a little more creative. :)
Ugh, I was searching through one of my cookbooks to decide what cookies to make in my NEW mixer, and the damn thing fell off the counter and onto the floor where it went all over the place. I spent the next 10 minutes putting it back together, therefore I never got around to making cookies because I was mad!
