November 29th 2008, Day 29

Vinny and I went to my parent's house today so Vinny could use up some of his crap loads of energy! Anyways, after a good 45 minute run Gage was exhausted and fell asleep. I love love love his squishy face!

November 28th 2008, Day 28

BLACK FRIDAY: I had to work 3-11. I left for work at 2 (it typically takes me about 5 minutes to get to work) planning on there being crap loads of traffic since I have to drive right by the mall. Oddly enough there was no traffic and I got to work in 10 minutes. So, I was way early to work so I sat in the break room for an hour staring at the food everyone brought in.

November 27th 2008, Day 27

TURKEY DAY! We went to my parent's house, and since it was just the 4 of us (Me, Brian, and my parent's) we didn't do the whole turkey thing...not to mention we're not huge fans of turkey anyways. So we had steak :) SO GOOD! This is Uncle Gage's cute lil face after he cleaned our plates. Sorry about the blur, fully belly gave me an unsteady hand, haha!

November 26th 2008, Day 26

The only picture I took today :(. I worked late again, and this is Melissa as we were getting ready to walk out the door! She was supposed to work until 10:30 and ended up staying until 12:15 with the rest of us!! She's a trooper!

November 25th 2008, Day 25

Zoe always seems to find something to get into. Today...she had a piece of paper stuck on her nose. Poor thing is so clueless about life that she didn't even realize that it was stuck there, she walked around with it on her nose for a good while, so of course I got a good laugh out of it, and quite a few pictures. My poor dog is no where near the smartest thing, she does a real good job at sitting, shaking and, and going in her cage, anything beyond that we will never get out of her. But we love her just the same...most days. haha. Oh, and I had to include this one taken at the dog park, it cracks me up! The look on Vinny's face is priceless, and all his feet except his back right one are up in the air! Too funny. He loves the dog park.

November 25th 2008, Day 24

We had to take our rings to Kay today for their every 6 month inspection thing for their warranty. Anyways I dropped Brian off there while I took the kids (the dogs) to my work to meet the people there. When I got back to Kay's Brian said I needed to take the dogs home and then come back and get him...uh oh! So I took the dogs home. He wouldn't let me see in the bag, and since the safe is full he has placed this "secret" under the bed. Me needing a picture for the day and this being exciting for me I decided this would be the perfect shot!! So...just wait till Christmas to find out what's in that bag!

November 23rd 2008, Day 23

We went to my parents today so the dogs could play, and for dinner. This is Zoe asking to come back inside while we were eating out on the screened in porch. The other two dogs (Gage, and Vinny) were inside so she wanted to be inside too!

November 22nd 2008, Day 22

This is my FAVORITE wedding gift I got. My little cousin made it for me! It's a fish (his black eye dot got wet and smudged), with a star fish, and some shells swimming in the ocean. He panted it, sprinkled the sand on it, glued all the accessories onto it and everything!! All of this put inside a half of a shell. I love it to pieces, it's in my bathroom and every time I stand at the sink I see it and it makes me think of him and smile. :) I have the best family in the world!! Thank you Nicky for my fish shell!

November 21st 2008, Day 21

I was looking at my purse today and realized how filthy and disgusting it is! I love my purse, always have ever since I got it...4 years ago. Wow! I can't believe it's been that long!! Anyways so I ventured to the harvey's website today to look at their new color options and style. OOPS, I've fallen in love with 5 bags, a wallet, a diaper bag (for future events not planning a family now), and a key chain to top it all off. All of it totaling only $1100!!! Of course I won't be buying all of this at one time because I honestly am not a crazy purse person, but I love love love my Harvey bags!! So at some point I hope to collect them all :)
In the mean time this is a picture of my original Harvey purse that I got for Christmas from my parents back in 2004, and I still to this day love it!! I just wish the white was white still, not muddy brown.

November 20th 2008, Day 20

This is me tired as hell waiting in the parking lot for Brian to get out of work. After working close then open shifts all week (and for the past 3 weeks) I'm dead exhausted, and this picture just proves that! Therefore, this post is short and sweet, I'm off to bed to be up for work in 7 hours. Oh joy!

So, I got my hair trimmed. Just a trim people, nothing major. It looks the exact same, just an inch or so shorter. For those of you who know me you know what a major deal this is. I HATE getting my hair cut, no matter how little came off. Anyways, here's a piece I saved so you all can see how much I had chopped!

November 17th 2008, Day 17

Kiwi was all fluffed up while I was fluffing the Christmas tree. So of course I took a picture of him. He's so cute! His newest phrase "I love my daddy!" So cute, I love hearing him talk!

November 16th 2008, Day 16

I had to work today, and when I came home...Brian had the Christmas tree set up (well just the tree up, nothing on it or anything)! He must be crazy it's ONLY November 16th!!! Ugh, I guess he's in the Christmas spirit already. He didn't bother to fluff it or anything, so I guess that's what I get to do tomorrow, but I refuse to decorate it until we get A LOT closer to Christmas.
This 2nd picture is because I tried for like 20 minutes to get the cute star feature to work on my point-n-shoot but it wouldn't work. So it's blurry but I think the stars are so cute!! So I didn't want to leave it out. :)

November 15th 2008, day 15

We went to my parent's house today. Vinny was so excited! He had the biggest smile on his face when I told him we were gonna go, so of course I had to take a picture. Then my battery died. So at least I got one in for the day!! Also, we have no officially had Vinny for 1 year! Happy one year with us Vinny! It's been a great year!

November 14th 2008, Day 14

I had the worst day today! It started with my biscuits getting burnt, then work was crappy, then i hit a curb and have a nice yellow scratch on my car now, then steak n shake forgot to put my chicken strips in the bag (Brian is currently on his way back there to get them). Thankfully all that is left to do tonight is post my picture of the day, and then go to bed. I hope not much more can go wrong between now and then. *fingers crossed*
1) the left overs from hitting the curb. This is bellow the drivers side door. I felt horrible, Brian says it's no big deal but it's a BIG deal to me!!
2) I think the only good thing that happened today (other than surviving it), is I cleaned my ring. I'm taking it in next week and I think I'm going to have them re-dip it, to make it look brand spanking new again!!


I know this is only supposed to be one picture a day, but I needed at least one good thing in here so that when I look back I wouldn't think that this entire day was horrible. Even though for the most part it was.

November 13th 2008, Day 13

So it was 11:50pm and I hadn't taken a picture yet, I was at work...and realized that I was very close to running out of time. I was supposed to be out of work at 11, so I figured I'd have plenty of time to find something to take a picture of. But since I didn't get out on time I figured I would take the one thing that was on my mind at the moment...the time. :) I know not exciting, but I'm sure looking back on it one year from now will make me smile and remember, and since that is what this is all about then I'm satisfied!

Zoe actually snuggled with me today!! This is a camera phone picture because my camera was just out of reach and I didn't want to move and ruin the moment. She asked to join me on the bed and everything!!

November 11th 2008, Day 11

I didn't know what to take pictures of today. I wanted to get a picture of a flag, but found myself too lazy to do it. So, I figured I'd do it tonight on my way home from my lame shift at work. But didn't really think about it being dark and me not wanting to put the extra time in to taking a night time picture so...this is me walking to my car after work, no flash. Just me the pavement and my purse. The blur is fun I guess. haha Oh well better luck tomorrow :)

November 10th 2008, Day 10

Brian and I went Christmas shopping today. Thankfully I knew what I was getting everyone, and knew right where we were going. So...Christmas shopping adventure 2008 took a record time of just under 3 hours!! Next year, I'm ordering EVERYTHING online. I have to ship all this stuff anyways so there is really no point of buying it (paying the 7% sales tax) and then shipping it. I'm sure next year I'll be able to find everyone's gifts online and shipped a lot easier (and maybe even cheaper!) than this year. So much for sticking to a budget, everyone's gift went over the limit by at least $5.00 and that's not including the shipping I get to pay to get this all to them. :) But I love the holidays so I guess you do what you gotta do! At least the only thing I have to worry about between now and December 25th is getting the gifts mailed out and getting the Christmas tree up and decorated, although I have no clue as to where I'm going to put the tree this year...

Sandhill Cranes. I really need to start carrying my other camera. These guys were far away, and since Vinny is fond of chasing birds I couldn't get very close to them. So this is sadly as zoomed in as my little point and shoot cannon will take me. But, it's my favorite shot from the day because I really like them!

November 8th 2008, Day 8

So, I would have posted my picture of the day earlier but...I came out to the living room to sit at the computer when I noticed this HUGE nasty cockroach on my wall. Of course too high for me to reach to kill, and I'm not about to swat a broom at the thing so it can fly and land on me. They freak me out and I hate them more than I can even begin to describe. Anyways thankfully it was close to time for me to get get Brian from work, but when I got home he was no longer on the wall. Great, now I have to sleep tonight knowing that this HUGE f*in cockroach is wandering around! I kid you not this guy was at least 2"!! And from this picture I've also noticed that I need to get rid of that cobweb haha!

Anyways, hope you all sleep well because I won't be sleeping until I know this guy is dead. First thing Monday...pest control is being called!

I was at my parent's today when this guy flew by so I took my camera out of my purse and snapped his picture. It's not that great for a few reasons...

-he was far away
-it was tough getting around all the branches to see him.

Hot Chocolate, there's always something about it that comforts me. Maybe it reminds me of being a kid coming in from playing outside in the snow. I don't really know what it is, but I love it! Now if only it were cold enough in Florida to really be able to enjoy a cup of it. It's currently 66 here. That's chilly in my Florida blood standards now, but no where near cold enough to truly enjoy my cup of hot chocolate.

In other news, Obama was elected President last night, and of course I stayed up to watch. I hate politics, I've been so annoyed the past year with all the political adds, but it was so exciting to watch the results come in! McCain's speach last night was great, Obama's could have been better...but I guess he's got 4 years to work on that, haha.

Anyways this is supposed to be a picture blog, but I thought it would be nice to have the political part of it for when I look back on it in a year. :)
